Salesforce + Contio: Your meetings and Salesforce, in sync

Prepped before. Sharp during. Logged after.
Be honest. When do you actually update Salesforce?
Probably 11pm. Maybe never.
It's not because you're lazy. It's because logging every call by hand is miserable, so it slides to the end of the day, and then to tomorrow, and then it doesn't happen. The pipeline goes stale. The next person to open the record has no idea what was actually said.
Today that changes. Contio now reads Salesforce to prep you before a meeting, answer questions during, and writes your meeting summaries and action items afterward.
What it does
Contio and Salesforce can share information back and forth, to inform the entire lifecycle of your meetings. Before a meeting, Contio reads Salesforce and pulls in relevant context to build detailed agendas, complete with talking points, so you walk in prepared.
During the conversation, ask Contio and it surfaces the right Salesforce details the moment a question comes up.
After a meeting, send the summary and the follow-up tasks into Salesforce, logged against the right Account, Contact, Lead, Case, Task or Opportunity. Contio drafts the activity from what was actually said, customized by your prompt. You review it, and send it in a click.
No more retyping the call into a CRM field at the end of the day. No more saving it for tonight. The update that used to eat your evening just happens.
The digging happens for you. Not by you.
That detail you need is buried in Salesforce — fifteen clicks and three tabs deep. Don't go digging. Ask Contio, and now it tracks down the answer for you.
Search any record right from Contio, or pull up everything tied to an Account or Opportunity — the related Contacts, the open Opportunities, the recent Cases and activity. It's there before you join, and again the moment a question comes up.
The right context, at exactly the right moment.
Logged where it belongs
Contio knows your Accounts, your Contacts, and your Opportunities. So the activity doesn't land in a generic inbox — it lands on the right record, properly related to everything around it. The client review shows up on the client's Opportunity. The prospect call shows up under the Lead.
Your CRM finally reflects reality: no stale records, no guessing what happened three calls ago.
How it works
It runs through Next Steps, so it fits the flow you already use:
Connect your Salesforce org. It's a one-time setup under Settings in Contio.
Finish your meeting, then run the Next Step to log it to Salesforce.
Review the draft. Contio writes the activity from the conversation based on the prompt you created in the Next Step. Refine anything you want in the modal.
Send. The activity is written to the correct Salesforce record.

Why we built it this way
Contio doesn't dump the full transcript into your CRM. A transcript isn't the work. It's the raw material.
Contio drafts the thing that matters: the summary, the tasks, the follow-up. Then it logs it to the right record. You decide what goes; Contio does the writing. This is the whole idea behind Contio: the conversation flows right into the work, landing in the system your team actually runs on.
Built private, by design
Trust isn't a nice-to-have for teams who live in a CRM: sales, RevOps, and financial advisors handling client relationships.
No bot joins your calls. Nothing is recorded. Contio does its AI processing in our secure private cloud, and your meeting data is never used to train foundational models. Your meetings stay yours.
